Senior Petrophysicist

Job Description

-Performing interpretation and reinterpretation of well logging data

-Providing preparation of petrophysical dependencies based on laboratory core studies and substantiating well logging data interpretation methods

-Analyzing reservoir properties of reservoirs based on core and well logging data

-Providing preparation of a geological study program in terms of standard, special, geochemical, and geomechanical core studies

-Forming technical specifications (requirements) for contractors performing core laboratory studies and well logging (preparation of tender documents, work orders)

-Providing support for contractual work in the field of core laboratory studies and well logging

-Supervising activities for conducting laboratory core and well logging studies (defining types and volumes of work, issuing assignments to the contractor to perform work, quality control of work performed by contractors, analysis of the results obtained)

-Monitoring the work of contractors to ensure the implementation of work plans in the field of laboratory core and well logging studies

-Analyzing the quality of work performed by contractors

-Preparing databases for creating geological models

-Generating, systematizing, and analyzing data to create a petrophysical model

-Constructing and refining petrophysical relationships based on laboratory core studies

-Substantiating calculation parameters, filtration, and capacity properties of reservoirs
