Job Description
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Take a key role in the achievement of key performance indicators for the Iranian market.
- Stay abreast of competitor activities and their potential impact on the portfolio. Collaborate on developing strategies to mitigate any negative effects on the business.
- Manage product portfolio, new product introductions, and line extensions.
- Lead the annual branding and marketing plan process by developing and implementing the plan in collaboration with other departments.
- Participate in the promotional plan process and the annual project schedule process.
- Contribute to the strategic plans and effectively help implement the plan within the agreed schedule.
- Assist in managing and recommending the research strategy.
- Provide market and category analysis and assists in the retail audit data.
- Attend key cross-functional and trade meetings.
- Manages the introduction of new products in conjunction with the Head of Sales.
- Recommend and work with the head of research on commissioning primary research as required to ensure NPD meets consumer expectations.
- Manage cross-functionally each NPD Project and update key stakeholders at NPD Meetings.
- Assist in the development of the creative process ensuring that it is effective while consistent with the overall communication strategy for the market
- Helps develop the brand activation program in conjunction with the Head of Sales ensuring that trial and conversion targets are achieved.
- Assist in the development of the media plan. Ensures that the key performance targets are achieved and that spending is within budget.
- Collaborate with departments to oversee the Insight process for individual projects in alignment with the consumer insight strategy.
- Support the retail audit portfolio data management and ensure effective analysis identifying market opportunities and competitive assessment.
- Assist in overseeing portfolio insights related to consumer trends, attitudes, and behaviors.
- Assist in overseeing significant consumer research projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Support in conjunction with the Head of Research the tracker study, including structure, on-trial, awareness, image, and communication cross-functionally.
- Assist in managing and coordinating with the marketing director to develop Brand, Product portfolio, and category Point of Sale (POS) solutions.
- Works collaboratively with the other departments and selected Retail Customers to develop and execute ‘best practice ‘category management solutions
- Collaborate with other departments and target customers to develop new and innovative merchandising solutions.
- Provide retail market and channel insight to enable the development of cohesive channel and category strategies
- Ensure the presence of skilled and professional brand activation executives of high caliber to consistently deliver quality and efficiency within the department.
- Generate regular and special reports for the leadership team that summarize and forecast business activities and the financial position of the products and escalate critical issues to provide effective recommendations in meeting the key challenges.
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or Marketing.
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience in branding and marketing.
- At least 3 years of a managerial role.
- Previous experience with International FMCG work within the beverage industry is an advantage.
- Good negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Professional English knowledge.
- Problem-solving skills.
