Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring long-term digital advertising growth and commercial team success in meeting its goals and objectives through creating and delivering robust strategies to align and integrate Snappfood products and platforms, taking full ownership and managing all Ad platforms and products teams, planning and prioritizing with the P&T teams, manage product portfolio, reviewing supply and demand regularly, ensure adequate funding, and co-work and communicate positively with related teams to help translate product ideas into efficient workflow solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and delivering a robust strategy for aligning and integrating our products and platforms, focusing on driving long-term digital advertising growth.
  • Taking the leadership role within the digital Ad operations team, encouraging all team members to take an integrated mindset when approaching projects or campaigns.
  • Managing and leading the Ad platforms and product teams and supporting the commercial performance and technology director on vital transformational projects.
  • Prioritizing development tasks with the key P&T teams, such as Ads and privacy and apark (branded content publishing).
  • Taking complete ownership of all the Ad platforms, ensuring they work towards our commercial goals.
  • Reviewing supply and demand regularly, ensuring that the FT is set up to achieve annual revenue goals.
  • Ensuring adequate funding is secured for the right areas of development.
  • Creating business cases for crucial funding dates ensures the team is resourced to achieve the department’s goals.
  • Ensuring the requirements of key stakeholders for each project are captured and achieved. Depending on the project, this will include Sales, Operations, Advertisers, and Media agencies.
  • Working closely with BI, delivery, CRM, and other related teams to help translate product ideas into efficient workflow solutions.
  • Analyzing trends, new ad tech, and research studies within the media landscape to ensure that the FT is taking advantage of new opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field or having equivalent relevant working experience; or an MBA graduate. 
  • Mastery of data analysis and visualization skills.
  • Proven experience in building business cases.
  • Proven experience in product testing.
  • Knowledge of marketing and media industry metrics and systems, including digital media and web analytics (e.g., DFP, DCM, and Web Analytics).
  • Knowledge of online marketing, an advantage, or willingness and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to present analytical projects to a non-analytical audience.
