Job Description

SBW INT’L is a trusted international supplier of machinery equipment for the petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, air separation, energy, and environmental industries. Our product range includes centrifugal, axial, and reciprocating compressors. Our Tehran-based team manages the full range of technical responsibilities during project execution - including engineering coordination, technical document control, technical meetings, and client communication - ensuring faster response times, closer cooperation with clients, and efficient project delivery.

As we continue to expand our technical support capabilities, we are looking for qualified and motivated professionals to join our team in roles such as the one described below.

Job Description:

• Design centrifugal compressor packages, including the preparation of P&IDs, I/O lists, instrumentation, and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Develop cause and effect charts for process gas, lubrication, sealing, and drive systems in oil, gas, chemical, and steel plant applications.
• Manage design progress by ensuring timely submission of project engineering data and technical risk assessments to maintain an orderly design plan.
• Participate in technical meetings and negotiate with customers on key technical aspects to expedite the engineering process during both the bidding and detailed design stages after order placement.
• Conduct anti-surge process system design for compressors, including start-up and shutdown logic, safety protection design, and engage in project HAZOP, SIL analysis, and related tasks.
• Collaborate with SBW Local and Home technical teams to finalize system documents, incorporating input from relevant disciplines.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petrochemical Engineering.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English, with strong skills in technical writing and verbal communication.
• Professional Attributes: A highly responsible individual with a meticulous approach to management. Should excel in communication, teamwork, and exhibit a proactive work ethic.
• Communication Skills: Must have the ability to articulate thoughts clearly and possess strong independent thinking skills.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience, with advanced technical and computer skills. Prior exposure to Sealing Systems or rotating equipment will be advantageous.
• Industry Experience: Previous employment within a Petrochemical Design Institute is required, along with a thorough understanding of project execution and processes in the Oil and Gas sector.
• Standards Knowledge: Well-versed in international standards relevant to the industry.
