Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and highly qualified person as a head of legal to lead the legal team.
Contract Management & Administration:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements, customer contracts, employment agreements, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure all contracts align with legal standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments on contractual matters.
- Develop and implement processes for efficient contract administration, including contract tracking, renewal, and compliance monitoring.
Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, regulatory bodies, and other relevant parties.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their legal needs and provide strategic legal advice to support their objectives.
- Effectively communicate legal requirements and considerations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Legal Compliance:
- Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company's legal compliance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
Dispute Resolution:
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent legal disputes and minimize the company's exposure to legal risks.
- Work closely with relevant departments to ensure that contractual obligations are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited law school.
- 5 years of experience practicing law, focusing on contracts and stakeholder management (having a tourism background is a plus).
- English proficiency is a plus.
- Membership in good standing with the Bar Association is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, business law, and relevant regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and at various organizational levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical conduct.
