Job Description
We are looking for an HSE Expert for our plant in Takestan.
The job holder will be responsible for the coordination and execution of the occupational health, safety, and environment management systems-related activities in Takestan to identify hazards, reduce risk, and prevent accidents.
Main Tasks:
- Execute our annual strategic plan for the occupational health, safety, and environment management systems.
- Cooperate and coordinate with all levels of the organization providing technical support to follow a proper administration of health, safety, and environmental programs.
- Follow up programs, and technical guidance and maintain appropriate levels of awareness to identify and control physical, chemical, biological, electrical, mechanical, and ergonomic hazards and potential risks of the operations.
- Follow up and execute safety and health training programs for all employees.
- Ensure execution and compliance of internal and external HSE policies and practices.
- Perform regular inspections and conduct efficient investigations.
- Report accidents, incidents, near misses potentially severe injuries, etc.
- Ensure the identification of the root cause, and define a suitable action plan with responsible persons and compliance dates.
- Maintain the accident and near misses database and monitor the trends to decrease the accident rate.
- Follow up execution and compliance of proper and sustainable LOTO application in all areas and activities.
- Perform machine and activity risk assessment based on risk assessment methods.
- Follow-up contractors’ contract conditions to ensure that the safety issues are mentioned.
- Review and follow up on the evaluation of the environmental aspects and their impact on the facilities.
- Follow up emergency plan and its procedures, and ensure that the emergency team has received the proper training and awareness.
- Be present actively and efficiently on the shop floor regularly to ensure the right safety culture and follow up on safety rules and action plans.
