Job Description

  • Implement together a safety program ensuring sustainable high safety and health performance for the entire site (production + nonproduction).
  • Continuously improving safety and health performance.
  • Develop, plan, and implement all supporting programs and initiatives to create world-class safety and health performance.
  • Ensures the correct implementation of the prevention as required by law
  • Create a good working environment.
  • Ensuring timely training in safety and health as per legal requirements and as per Puratos group expectations.
  • Execute safety and health training for the employees.
  • Participate and act as an active member in the change management process. Provide timely input to the team.
  • Report results on a frequent basis (monthly report, scorecard, yearly report)
  • Definition and follow-up of action plans to maintain and further improve the site safety and health performance;
  • Influencing all relevant departments (production, engineering, planning/supply chain, maintenance, quality, HR, R&D, etc.) in order to align all on putting safety and health as the most important focus area.
  • Authorities: acts as a backup to represent GolnanPuratos in all contacts with authorities (city, province, national).
  • External inspecting bodies: fire insurance, liability insurance, etc.

Requirements

  • Higher technical or scientific education in Safety, preferably a Bachelor's in HSE, (Electro, Mechanics, Chemical, etc.).
  • At least 8 years of experience as a prevention manager in safety and health, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Fluent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Occasional travel (once every 3 months) to another region in the country for safety audits.
  • Ability to manage customer needs.
