Job Description
- Plan and execute the maintenance for all machines in the factory.
- Cooperate with the manufacturing/plant manager to run the production plan smoothly and with the least possible downtime.
- Manage the staff in the maintenance department.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance for all machines in alignment with the manufacturing/plant manager.
- Check all the machines through his team on a regular basis while they are working and do the necessary actions if needed.
- Plan and execute all the required maintenance activities for the cooling/hitting system for the factory and administration areas.
- Plan for utilizing the external maintenance suppliers with all the details.
- Manage the 3rd part maintenance suppliers when they are planned to be used.
- Prepare and update the machine's catalog if needed.
- Forecast the spare parts required for the machines and assist the procurement department in finding the suppliers.
- Prepare regular reports for maintenance department activities and present them to the management team and other department heads.
- Prepare the analytical report for utilizing the maintenance systems efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years experience in supervising the maintenance department.
- Good knowledge of pneumatic/electrical systems.
- Good knowledge of maintaining the manufacturing machines in production lines.
- Good knowledge of technical drawings, especially for manufacturing machines.
- Good knowledge of welding, piping, and other related technical skills.
- Experience in spare part management and be able to negotiate with suppliers.
- Hands-on experience to plan for preventive maintenance.
- Ability to manage the team.
- Analytical mindset.
