Job Description

• Design of mechanical systems including Equipment, Piping, HVAC and Plumbing applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and materials • Perform initial and ongoing design reviews • Develop CAD project drawings and review drawings from junior team members for accuracy • Prepare reports and mechanical engineering documents including calculation, layout, MTO and proposal • Produce details of specifications and outline designs • Discuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing departments, contractors and suppliers • Review of contractor/vendor documents • Supervision of projects at workshop based on missions in all over the country and abroad. • Travel Requirements: Willing and able to travel nationally and internationally • Current Residence: Tehran

Requirements

• University degree: B.S. / M.S Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable universities. • Specialist knowledge: Piping, plumbing and HVAC Design (Calculating required flow rate and pressure, ductwork and pipe sizing, material selection) • Familiar with: Rotary and fixed equipment’s, pumps, heat exchangers, chillers, AHUs, boilers, tanks, pressure vessels (Experience in steel industry is an advantage) • Familiar with relevant standards like as EN, DIN, API. • Proficient in working with computer (MS-Office, Internet and specialized software such as AutoCAD, HAP (Carrier), PDMS, Revit, Fluent, Gambit) • Educable, self-motivated and having team work spirit. • Be responsible and well-organized with strong sense of urgency and able to work under pressure • Capable of multitasking in order to meet deadlines • Ability to create reports and documents for procedures and tasks • High level of problem solving capability and analytical skills with keen eye for detail • Language skill: Fluent in English, especially technical documents
