Support the medical director in carrying out the day-to-day operational activities of the medical department.
Review and sign off on promotional and non-promotional material to ensure compliance with the codes of practice.
Provide input to Arta Pharmed national projects as agreed from time to time on a defined basis.
Support medical affairs projects and activities.
Maintain high standards of technical proficiency.
Develop relationships with key opinion leaders, patient organizations, and professional groups.
Responsible for medical training of Arta Pharmed staff.
Leverage clinical/scientific data to optimize the delivery of Arta Pharmed integrated product plans.
Act as the primary “data expert” for the therapy area.
Identify and communicate newly published data as appropriate.
Monitor key information sources of changes within the pharmaceutical industry, NHS, and healthcare that may impact Arta Pharmed products, and communicate of relevance to the sales team.
Proactively identify needs for promotional/ non-promotional material and discuss them with marketing colleagues.
Requirements
Medically qualified.
More than 2 years of clinical experience and experience beyond clinical medicine preferred.
Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred - Ideally in the relevant therapeutic area and including customer-facing experience.
Advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; conversant with key sites on the Internet; conversant with key medical databases and able to implement basic search strategies.
Ability to communicate complex issues and data to a wide range of professional and lay audiences, adapting message and style to suit.
