Job Description

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Domain Controller environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core services.
• Oversee the operation and security of Domain Controllers to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor and maintain system health, including performance tuning and capacity planning for Domain Controllers.
• Document processes, configurations, and system changes.
• Develop and utilize PowerShell scripts to automate tasks such as user management, system configuration, and reporting across the Domain Controller environment.
• Regularly perform health checks across multiple domains and sites to ensure the integrity and reliability of the active Directory infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and maintain Group Policies (GPOs) across the enterprise to enforce security settings, application deployments, and other configurations.
• Implement and monitor auditing mechanisms within Active Directory to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor Active Directory replication between Domain Controllers across different sites, ensuring data consistency and timely updates.
• Maintain detailed documentation of the Domain Controller environment, including configurations, policies, and procedures. Provide regular reports on the health and performance of the environment.
• Implement and manage Veeam Backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and efficient recovery processes.
• Manage TAPE storage systems, including backup, archiving, and retrieval processes.

Technical Skills:

Microsoft Server Management:

• Expertise in managing and configuring Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Proficiency in managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core server services.

Domain Controller (DC) Management:

• Deep understanding of Domain Controller architecture, including multi-domain and multi-site configurations.
• Experience with Group Policy Management (GPOs) and enforcing security settings.
• Proficiency in monitoring and maintaining the health of Domain Controllers, including replication, authentication, and authorization processes.

Veeam Backup & Replication:

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication solutions.
• Ability to design, implement, and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies using Veeam.
• Experience in restoring data and managing backup schedules.

TAPE Storage Management:

• Expertise in managing TAPE storage systems, including backup, archiving, and retrieval processes.
• Knowledge of best practices for data retention, storage, and disaster recovery.

PowerShell Scripting:

• Proficiency in using PowerShell for automating tasks, managing system configurations, and generating reports.
• Ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts to streamline operations.
