Job Description

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues, such as slow connectivity or network outages, to ensure optimal network performance and availability.
• Conduct regular network audits to identify security vulnerabilities and implement measures to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to plan, design, and implement network infrastructure upgrades or enhancements.
• Configure and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems, to protect the organization's data and systems.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining network policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users regarding network connectivity, VPN access, and network-related hardware and software issues.
• Monitor and manage network backups and disaster recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and best practices.
