- Implement, configure, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to architect and deploy network solutions that align with business goals.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure minimal downtime and efficient problem resolution.
- Stay abreast of emerging networking technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement in our network environment.
- Maintain reporting, documentation, and issue resolution.
- Communicate throughout the incident ticket lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and diagnose problems.
- Monitor network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
- Work in 12-hour rotational night shifts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to be on-call.
- In-depth knowledge of CCNP ENCORE and ENARSI is a must; CCIE is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, and network protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, STP, FHRP, VSS, STACKWISE, VPC), with a focus on Cisco technologies.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a strong track record of maintaining and troubleshooting complex network and data center infrastructures.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, Cacti, and PRTG.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN and ACI technologies, as well as CCNP DCCOR, is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical solutions.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and keeping up with the latest industry trends.
- Stress handling, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of mentoring junior team members.
- At least 2 years of work experience in a large-scale enterprise or service-provider network.
- An end-of-service card is mandatory for men.
