Position Summary:
The network IT specialist is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT network and infrastructure. This role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. The Specialist will manage and coordinate with external vendors, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
- Deployment: Work with LGO, GLOBE IS/IT team, and IT suppliers for the IT projects related to the installation and sustain of GWAN network, backup, antivirus, and other IT components in all sites in the market aligned with global IT standards and guidelines. Support market/region cross-stream projects e.g. company merger, acquisition/divestiture, site/office relocation aligned with market/business priorities.
- Sustain: Provide 2nd level of IT infrastructure support e.g. Servers, Workstations, Printers, Networks, etc. to improve, streamline and standardize GLOBE ISIT support processes. Diagnose system-related incidents and take correct for immediate resolution; escalate to the GLOBE ISIT for higher-level resolution. Complete the works as scheduled/in accordance with service level agreements and meet the business requirements as defined.
- Sustain: Help the IT manager provide input (recommendations and justifications for new/replacement) for the IT budget (CAPEX and OPL) planning. Monitor and control GLOBE costs against the approved budget.
- Leverage: Work with GLOBE ISIT and IT suppliers for the opportunity of IT cost reduction, propose and implement the approved initiatives to optimize total GLOBE ISIT cost in the market.
- Leverage: Provide support to the initiatives related to IT Security Awareness within the market/region.
- Leverage: Ensure adherence to the principles and practices of Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) e.g. LEAN - waste elimination approach, leading to the reduction of service time and process optimization across all layers of the organization.
What Will Make You Successful?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering; more than 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT security, network, and telecommunication for FMCG business.
- Good knowledge and understanding of complex IT infrastructures including data center, network, security, and W2K server concepts.
- Understanding of the following: Microsoft technologies, application system design, software development lifecycle, database concept, data conversion, etc.
- Good English level.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Preferable - experience working with an international company, being able to negotiate and deal with people outside the market.
- Preferable - experience in managing IT infrastructure and telecommunications for multi-sites, overseas networking, and cloud computing technology.
