Summary:
The procurement expert (Ecosystem Excellence Partner) will be primarily responsible for managing the operations and transactional procurement of goods and services in one or more categories and supporting the key purchasing interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders, negotiating with and selecting approved vendors based on overall business value and reviewing and analyzing purchase requisitions to ensure competitive pricing and supplier selection based on a delivering maximum value.
The procurement expert (Ecosystem Excellence Partner) reports to the finance chapter enabler (head of finance).
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinates purchasing activities with the needs of other departments through stakeholder management.
- Works with internal customers on developing goods and service specifications to ensure the best quality product at the lowest cost.
- Provides training to stakeholders on procurement systems/processes.
- Responsible for SAP needs such as PO creation, analytics, and reporting.
- Record keeping of purchase orders, contracts, agreements, receipt etc. These records must be pristine in case of audit or review.
- Supports the procurement process which would include supplier identification, bidding, negotiating, supplier selection, and contracting.
- Implements and maintains an appropriate local process to ensure the manual screening of prospective BP against national and internationally sanctioned party lists.
- In countries where local characters different from Latin characters are used, implement and maintain (or delegate) the international table in SAP ERP for all BP.
