About the job:
This role will be responsible for:
The quality assurance manager is responsible for implementing Danone’s quality and food safety requirements and FSSC22000 principles. Moreover, regulatory activities (quality stakeholders), approving the list of suppliers (raw and pack material), and 3PM as per Danone’s guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out duties related to the technical responsibility and controlling the compliance of the product and raw materials with the national standards and Danone and provide necessary solutions to resolve the non-conformities
- Improve product quality and provide suggestions through analytical reports
- Proceed with training programs to improve the level of quality and food safety expertise of personnel
- Monitor, conduct meetings, control, and cooperate for implementing, establishing, and maintaining the company's quality assurance system in compliance with the relevant standards and the realization of quality culture at the organizational level
- Communicate, and monitor the implementation of the latest instructions related to the Danone / ISO FSSC 22000 requirements with regular audits, archiving documents and records, and take timely actions to issue and renew all product license
- Plan internal audits to validate the implementation of the FSMS system on the site
- Prepare and update the requirements of food safety system related to the stakeholders, prepare reports related to PRPs, follow up on its cases, and ensure that critical limits for CCP and OPRP in the production and packaging process meet FSMS principles
- Carry out inspections to and follow up its resolve implementation and follow up resolving non-compliance and ensure that food quality and safety systems and certification requirements related to suppliers and 3PM are in place
- Accountability to supervising authorities and ensure that MOH regulations is applied to methods and equipment, products, processes, and destruction
- Supervise the implementation of labeling principles, the process of sampling, and submission of the product to the co-laboratory
- Evaluate the received complaints and follow them up to receive the related responses and results
- Ensure that the requirements related to the quality requirements of the distribution chain are met in the logistics process, warehousing, and sales.
- Stop or change the production process or line if any non-conformities related to Danone/ISO FSSC 22000 are observed in the test results of the product during production, final product, or activities
- Supplier’s approval & maintenance audit, ensure that external suppliers are Danone approved
- Periodic visits of DCs, effective follow-up on actions
- Quality market visits and effective follow-up on actions.
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Food Industry
- At least 3 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in the dairy industry.
- Familiarity with the principles of food safety hazard analysis.
- Preferably having work experience in the quality assurance department, and contact with government-related food agencies.
Experience and knowledge:
- Mastery of ISO 22000 and ISO FSSC22000, food quality, and safety certificates.
- Familiarity with the basics of PRP’s.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
