Job Description
As a senior technical engineer, you will be the cornerstone of our technical expertise, focusing on Honeywell’s automation portfolio. You will provide support to the sales team, system integrators, and clients, ensuring seamless implementation of Honeywell’s advanced automation systems. Reporting to the division head, you will contribute to designing, configuring, and executing cutting-edge solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical proposal engineer for Honeywell’s Control and Automation products, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and field instruments.
- Collaborate with sales and project teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
- Communicate directly with Honeywell for project designs, system layouts, and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Design and deliver scalable automation systems for industries such as oil & gas, water treatment, power generation, and food and beverage.
- Provide technical consulting to clients, offering expertise in system integration, configuration, and operation of Honeywell products.
- Develop technical and commercial concepts to support sales processes and enhance customer engagement.
- Conduct training sessions and technical workshops for internal teams and clients to ensure effective utilization of Honeywell solutions.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in Honeywell automation technology to maintain technical leadership.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering fields (Electrical, Control, or related fields).
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in control and automation engineering, with a focus on Honeywell automation products.
- Proven expertise in PLC and DCS system design, especially Honeywell ControlEdge® and Experion® platforms.
- Hands-on experience with field instruments such as pressure, flow, temperature, and gas detection systems. (Preferred)
- Comprehensive knowledge of industrial communication protocols, including Modbus, Ethernet/IP, ProfNet, and OPC-UA.
Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Honeywell’s Experion® SCADA/DCS platforms, including system configuration, engineering, and maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex automation systems.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and Honeywell representatives.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Languages:
- Proficient in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.
Travel Flexibility:
- Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements, and training sessions.
