Job Description
The shipping operations supervisor in a shipping line oversees and coordinates the operational activities related to vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and on-time departure/arrival. This role requires strong collaboration with port authorities, stevedores, and other logistics partners to ensure the smooth flow of operations at ports and terminals. The supervisor is also responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing processes, and handling any issues that may arise during cargo loading and discharge. This plays a critical role in maintaining service reliability and customer satisfaction for the shipping line.
