Job Description
The trade marketing supervisor is responsible for all in-store activities and customer BTL contracts in all sales channels, to ensure top quality in-store activities e.g. POSM and consumer promotions execution in outlets, to coordinate and align with sales and marketing in the design of materials and implement the associated plans with clear KPIs including Shopper Research.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Own the shopper marketing process with brand deliverables in alignment with sales and marketing.
- Manage TM budgets in alignment with marketing.
- Own shopper market research process, implementation, data analysis, and presentation.
- Maintain awareness of various shopper and BTL activations of competitors.
- Scan channels (modern trade, traditional trade) for opportunities to engage Shoppers ahead of the competition.
- Manage POSM vendors – negotiation to execution.
- Manage and engage with cross-functional teams to support the TM process i.e. purchasing, etc.
- Do regular (daily) store visits and establish a quality-oriented mentality in the whole field organization pertaining to shopper activities.
Qualifications:
Education:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, or other related fields.
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing or trade marketing.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of shopper behavior in FMCG businesses referably the beverage industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage assigned projects and deadlines effectively.
