Job Description

• To oversee the seamless operation and optimization of National Core Transmission, National Access networks, and all leased line capacity from TIC/TCP or other 3rd parties ensuring the delivery of KPIs and alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
• To enhance operational processes and policies, manage vendor and stakeholder relationships, and implement advanced solutions to ensure high availability, minimal downtime, and cost-effective management of the transmission and access infrastructure.
• To maintain a high-performance core and access transmission network that supports the overall telecom network's reliability, scalability, and future readiness.
• To Provide strategic and operational leadership to reduce MTNI core and access transmission operation and leasing costs.
• To manage implementing AI-based solutions in MTNI core and access transmission network to forecast traffic growth and upcoming congestions
• To make sure to have full visibility in the link, board, and port level for core and access transmission nodes.
• To make sure having updated network topology for core and access transmission network
• To create a warm relationship with TIC/TCP and other 3rd party infrastructure providers to get the best services and support.

Responsibilities:

• To articulate the tactics for National TX Operations and National Access Operations, ensuring alignment with the overall future direction of the wireless network.
• To manage the successful delivery of KPIs for Transmission Operations, collaborating with internal customers such as Core, BSS, VAS planning, OPS, and ITS teams.
• To enhance and refine operational processes for Transmission and Access Operations, focusing on vendor management and investment efficiency.
• To develop and implement effective policies and procedures for Transmission and Access operations, ensuring seamless integration with organizational goals.
• To ensure the Transmission Network operates at peak efficiency, minimizing downtime and its impact on overall network performance.
• To manage OPEX budgets for Transmission and Access Operations.
• To develop and maintain SLA and KPI metrics for Transmission and Access Operations, ensuring alignment with business needs and outsourced environments.
• To forecast yearly spare requirements for core and access transmission network and manage to have enough spare to not affect operation.
• To manage and optimize transmission networks for 5G backhaul, ensuring minimal latency and maximum reliability.
• To oversee the deployment of microwave and millimeter-wave solutions for rural and urban access, ensuring coverage expansion and reliability.
• To lead initiatives for converged access networks, enabling seamless integration of fixed and wireless access technologies.
• To implement AI-driven tools for real-time traffic management and network optimization in transmission and access networks.
• To monitor and mitigate challenges related to Access transmission of Enterprise Business services
• To ensure and monitor microwave access transmission network maintenance and operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, or Telecom.
• Fluent in English.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience; with at least 3 years in IP and Transmission network operation.
• Experience working across diverse cultures and geographies is an advantage.
