Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Domain Controller environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core services.
Oversee the operation and security of Domain Controllers to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor and maintain system health, including performance tuning and capacity planning for Domain Controllers.
Document processes, configurations, and system changes.
Develop and utilize PowerShell scripts to automate tasks such as user management, system configuration, and reporting across the Domain Controller environment.
Regularly perform health checks across multiple domains and sites to ensure the integrity and reliability of the active Directory infrastructure.
Design, implement, and maintain Group Policies (GPOs) across the enterprise to enforce security settings, application deployments, and other configurations.
Implement and monitor auditing mechanisms within Active Directory to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor Active Directory replication between Domain Controllers across different sites, ensuring data consistency and timely updates.
Maintain detailed documentation of the Domain Controller environment, including configurations, policies, and procedures. Provide regular reports on the health and performance of the environment.
Implement and manage Veeam Backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and efficient recovery processes.
Manage TAPE storage systems, including backup, archiving, and retrieval processes.
Technical Skills:
Microsoft Server Management:
Expertise in managing and configuring Microsoft Windows Server environments.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core server services.
Domain Controller (DC) Management:
Deep understanding of Domain Controller architecture, including multi-domain and multi-site configurations.
Experience with Group Policy Management (GPOs) and enforcing security settings.
Proficiency in monitoring and maintaining the health of Domain Controllers, including replication, authentication, and authorization processes.
Veeam Backup & Replication:
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication solutions.
Ability to design, implement, and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies using Veeam.
Experience in restoring data and managing backup schedules.
TAPE Storage Management:
Expertise in managing TAPE storage systems, including backup, archiving, and retrieval processes.
Knowledge of best practices for data retention, storage, and disaster recovery.
PowerShell Scripting:
Proficiency in using PowerShell for automating tasks, managing system configurations, and generating reports.
