Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated accounting assistant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in accounting and excellent analytical skills. The accounting assistant should be proficient in Excel, familiar with accounting concepts and principles, highly motivated to learn, and committed to completing tasks accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll calculations, and insurance and tax.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Prepare and submit seasonal transaction reports.
• Proficiency in the taxpayer system.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Ensure timely bank payments and manage cash flow.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Proficiency in recording and archiving documents in financial software, Excel reports, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, such as QuickBooks.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and Pivot Tables.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
