Biotechnology and Biopharmaceutical Industries Technical Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a Technical Specialist to join the growing technical team at ASA Biotech. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing scientific and technical support to customers, suppliers, and internal teams, and will play an active role in technical sales, customer success, and the development of innovative solutions for the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for products and applications related to the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical presentations, and on-site customer visits.
• Support product selection, process optimization, and technical troubleshooting.
• Communicate with international suppliers and prepare technical documentation.
• Work closely with the sales, commercial, and logistics teams.
• Contribute to the preparation of SOPs, technical documents, and internal knowledge resources.

Qualifications

• Preferably a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields.
• Work experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries.
• Good familiarity with downstream processing, purification, chromatography techniques such as HPLC, and filtration technologies.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel for customer site visits, technical meetings, and business-related activities.
