Golrang Tarabar Transportation, a dynamic player in the Transport and Logistics industry in Tehran, seeks an experienced Chief of International Transport to lead our international shipping operations. Established in 2013, Golrang Tarabar is committed to delivering seamless transport and logistics solutions. The ideal candidate is expected to bring expertise and leadership to ensure efficient and effective management of international transport activities.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee international shipping processes, including sea, air, and land transport.
- Negotiate with customers, distributors, and external partners to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, including Incoterms 2020 and principles of international contracts.
- Lead and develop a team, fostering a spirit of responsibility and problem-solving.
- Manage cargo insurance and customs clearance, ensuring all international shipments meet necessary regulations.
- Oversee preparation and accuracy of international commercial documents such as Proforma, LC, BL, COA, and Invoice.
- Ensure familiarity with transportation and logistics laws and current infrastructures and limitations.
- Utilize the Comprehensive Trading System (NTSW) effectively.
- Apply principles of domestic and international letter writing and communication with proficiency in the English language.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English language and literature.
- Thorough knowledge of domestic and international transport and logistics laws.
- Experience with international shipping processes and cargo types.
- Ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and responsibility.
- Deep understanding of international trade laws and commercial documents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or Management.
