Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Civil Intern to join our team. This internship will work under the guidance of senior engineers to support Data Center site civil design and execution activities.

Responsibilities

-Data analysis: Assist in collecting and analyzing data center civil facility requirements for new projects (e.g., office & drafting support, on-site execution assistance, documentation, estimation).
-Support civil design: Help prepare basic civil designs and specifications according to reference standards.
-On-site supervision: Support site construction supervision based on approved designs and quality standards.
-Reporting: Support the team in creating reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint to summarize project status.
-Learning and development: Actively learn about DC facility technologies, data center civil architecture, and optimization methodologies.

Requirements

-Theory & structural basics (understanding steel & concrete structures, and quantity takeoff/estimation).
-Building codes: Familiarity with national building regulations.
-Blueprint reading & drafting (ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings; proficiency in AutoCAD).
-Construction processes: Knowledge of general construction sequences (excavation, formwork, rebar, concreting) and building materials.
-Quality control & safety: Awareness of material quality standards and basic site safety practices (PPE, etc.).
-Essential software: AutoCAD (must-have), Excel (for calculations).
-Proactive problem-solving: Offer potential solutions whenever presenting a problem to managers.
-Time management: Juggle multiple tasks simultaneously without missing project deadlines.
-BSc/MSc degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
