Manage to deliver the shipments from Iran to other countries.
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, and related delivery issues.
Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
Monitor shipments to ensure that goods are delivered on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
Negotiate prices and terms with domestic and international shipping and transportation companies, suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, and product volumes in containers.
Confer with supplier, sales, and marketing delivery conditions and prepare a draft of the shipping contract.
Align with our Italy office to ship their orders from Iran.
Negotiate with customs to release or shipment of cargo, and prepare and receive related documents.
Develop procedures for coordination of supply International chain management with other functional areas, such as export, quality control, marketing, finance, and production.
Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, provide performance feedback, or discuss production forecasts or changes.
Control and endorse the shipping document.
Optimize the transportation cost by increasing product volume in containers.
Prepare and analyze the sales report.
Negotiate with customs to solve the eventual problem.
Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
File all shipment and logistics documents such as contracts, payments, customs clearance, etc.
Analyze the weekly orders.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in international logistics, shipment, or customs.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain/Logistics, or related fields; or an MBA graduate.
Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS.
Experience in foreign logistics of nuts and dried fruit products has strong privileges.
Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
Outstanding analytic and presentation skills.
Ability to prioritize and operate under pressure.
Strong problem-solving ability.
Fluent in English is a must.
Professional skills in MS Office especially Excel.
