Sending inquiries to suppliers to get the right price for the right product (raw materials, spare parts, machines, services, etc).
Negotiating with suppliers, and following up on the production, shipment, and delivery.
Registering the order in NTSW, and getting needed governmental approvals from regulatory authorities.
Following up on payments (banking procedure), preparing bank and exchange forms, and delivering to bank/exchange.
Coordinating and following up the shipment, insurance, and inspection procedures, as well as the shipping documents.
Following up on customs clearance procedures and customs issues with the clearance team.Inputting timely and accurate data in systems/files to ensure on-time reporting and recording of all data and archive documents.
Following up with forwarders to ensure timely delivery of the goods to the factory.
Full alignment with all departments to ensure all the procedures are in line with company policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related fields.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
At least 3 years of experience in foreign procurement/commerce/supply chain.
Comprehensive knowledge of foreign procurement and commercial procedures regulations, sourcing, and correspondence.
Ability to work in a rapidly changing situation.
Familiar with international transportation, import and export rules and regulations international business, and commercial terms.
Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Team worker, self-organized, and motivated.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to handle high levels of stress.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.
