As an HSE specialist, you will ensure workplace safety by identifying risks, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with internal and legal standards. You’ll conduct regular inspections, lead safety training, and work closely with employees and contractors to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Job Description:
Investigate and record incidents, accidents, complaints, and cases of illness.
Ensure proper and safe installation of equipment.
Identify potential hazards and harmful factors, assess risks, and determine ways to mitigate them.
Develop safe operating procedures and implement necessary changes.
Conduct health and safety sessions and organize training courses for employees.
Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with public health regulations.
Regularly visit different departments, document inspections, and report findings to company management and the Occupational Health and Safety Committee to inform them of the status and take final decisions to resolve issues.
Implement and recommend solutions for colleagues on controlling and eliminating workplace hazards.
Report non-conformities with company policies and legal requirements.
Ensure all legal requirements are met correctly across the organization.
Requirements:
At least a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety, or Occupational Health.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
Thorough knowledge of both domestic and international HSE requirements and regulations.
Strong knowledge of fire prevention systems.
Ability to manage contractors according to regulations.
Proficiency in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
