Job Description
A person with adequate capacity and authority who shall coordinate and implement the HSE systems adopted by the company in an external site and shall cooperate with the site manager for the whole duration of the site.
In detail, he shall:
- Study the safety documentation.
- Keep updated on the health and safety plan.
- Eventually, integrate the procedures included in the company's health and safety management system with the requirements foreseen by safety regulations in force according to local or client law.
- Draw up and keep updated on the emergency and evacuation plan depending on the real conditions of the sites.
- Cooperate for the purchase of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to provide to site personnel and visitors before entering on-site, and guarantee the availability of necessary PPE during the whole duration of the site.
- Organize the safety training orientation referred to the specific and updated risks of the site, the following safety measures and the procedures to be adopted by the personnel deputed on site.
- Organize periodical safety coordination meetings.
- Perform job site safety compliance inspections including safe work procedures, written reports, and recommendations.
- Notice any nonconformity regarding misbehaviors of the personnel and/or unsafe conditions in working areas.
- Implement the system of permit to works, lock out tag out, on-site during the commissioning of the plant.
- Organize eventual safety training courses which could be necessary on-site.
- Manage incident reporting processes, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, as well as implementation of corrective and protection actions.
