Job Description

The incumbent is responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting according to IFRS and Global Tobacco Accounting Manual for JTI Iran entities (Pars and Parsian).

Areas of Responsibility:

• Preparing monthly IFRS adjustments to convert Iran Accounting Standards (IAS) into IFRS/JTI standards.
• Performing all of the month-end related tasks such as volume and trial balance submissions to BCS.
• Preparing Market P&L, etc. in an accurate and timely manner, in accordance with the JTI IFRS accounting manual and corporate accounting guidance.
• Supporting the accounting supervisors in JSOX controls and provision of required documents for key account reconciliation purposes.
• Providing the factory finance team with the information/support needed for their month-end closing-related tasks/analysis and supporting the accounting team in the specific month-end closing matter as needed. Cooperating with external auditors.
• Preparing and submitting quarterly reporting packages within the given deadlines. Preparing the required information for hyperinflation analysis.

Candidate Profile:

Education:

• A university degree in Accounting, or Finance.

Work Experience and Competence:

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, or finance.

Languages and Computer Skills:

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Rahkaran System, Microsoft Excel, and Windows.

Functional Skills:

• Knowledge of IAS/IFRS.
• Detail oriented & highly organized.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills.
• Team player.
