Job Description

Mission: ● To assist in preparation, review, and reporting of MTN Irancell financial, non-financial, and operational performance to MTN Group and external parties. ● To assist in the development of accounting practices to ensure MTN Irancell complies with the highest financial management principles and accuracy of financial and non-financial reporting. Roles and responsibilities: ● To collaborate on the integration of Financial Systems, and check related data with all related systems and ensure integration of data. ● To assist in interpreting accounting/financial and nonfinancial ratio and information to evaluate the financial performance of MTNIrancell business operations. ● To update the software report load file and other monthly and quarterly related reports. ● To assist in year-end audit and statutory and regulatory returns in order to ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements on the non-financial information requirements. ● To assist in the preparation of financial statements of actual forecast and budget on a monthly basis and submit to MTN Group and related auditors. ● To assist in reporting operational performance on a monthly basis to MTN Group and operating expenditure reports for MTN Irancell. ● To assist in preparing financial evaluations and projections for identified projects and submit related reports to relevant parties. ● To assist in driving MTN Group Audit process to ensure all reporting requirements are met and in compliance with International Accounting Standards and IFRS. ● To assist in setting up reporting tools to capture deviation and/or compliance with funding agreements and communicate any risk to management. ● To gather data from MTN Irancell financial management and reporting tools and ensure uniformity of the information contained therein. ● To assist in preparing and submitting intercompany financial transactions in tools on a monthly basis and to ensure the balances are correct versus the other Opcos (and clear all differences) while meeting deadlines. ● To assist in the preparation and submitting monthly presentation file and quarterly reports while ensuring the information are accurate in Excel and PowerPoint format both in terms of efficiency and accuracy. ● To assist in preparing and submitting treasury reports on a monthly basis and ensure the information is accurate and ties back to our financials.

Requirements

Education: ● Bachelor's degree in Financial Management or Accounting based on IFRS or Internal Auditing or a related fields. Experience: ● Minimum of 2 years experience in an area of specialization with a focus in financial reporting; with experience in working with others. ● Experience in Financial Analysis. Technical competency: ● Budget management. ● Reporting and analysis. ● Data gathering and processing. ● Data visualization and presentation. ● Business process management. ● Accounting principles. ● Cash flow management. ● Financial analysis.
