
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the Subsidiary adheres to Iranian GAAP
• Ensuring preparation and timely submission of financial statements in accordance with Iranian GAAP
• Ensuring preparation and timely submission of tax reports to Iranian authorities
• Ensuring financial statements are audited by an Iranian CPA firm to confirm compliance with Iranian GAAP
• Developing and implementing internal controls specifically tailored to Iranian accounting requirements
• Ensuring accounting within the framework of the contract
• Interacting with Accounting & Tax on IPC accounting and other matters
• Providing internal accounting and tax consulting services in Iran upon request from management
• Managing the Accounting Department of the Subsidiary, developing and enhancing professional competencies of team members
• Preparing periodic reports for the Non-Operator

Qualifications:
• Education: Master’s in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or Economics
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in a Chief Accountant or similar role
• Technical Skills:
o Profound knowledge of Iranian tax law, labor regulations, and Accounting Standards
o Proficiency in Iranian accounting software
o Tax optimization capabilities within legal framework
o Experience in preparing financial statements, managing statutory audits, and liaising with tax authorities
o Strong team management skills (leading 5+ employees) and internal control establishment
o Ability to monitor cash flow, inventory, and conduct financial analysis for management decisions
• Language: Fluent English (technical writing & conversation)
• Soft Skills:
o High attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of documents
o Readiness to work in an intensive environment during the active phase of the project
o Ability to stay updated with constant changes in Iranian legislation and technology
