Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a logistics specialist (Bitumen, fuel oil, base oil, petrochemicals, and steel). The logistics professionals will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating the movement of products between the various product loading terminals and delivering to customers in as prompt and efficient manner as possible. Also documentation shipping.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with supplier and customer operations, and other stakeholders to schedule deliveries and ensure the accuracy of information in shipping records.
  • Coordinating with other members of the company to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
  • Coordinating with the supply and sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers.
  • Maintaining records of shipments to identify patterns in shipping errors or delays.
  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans, and similar data.
  • Ensuring that products are delivered undamaged and on time by coordinating with carriers such as shipping companies and forwarders.
  • Monitoring product quality and quantity through cooperation with inspection organizations.
  • Presenting the operational plan to the sales and supply teams.
  • Performing clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and sending updates to third parties.
  • Coordinating the use of warehouses or other storage facilities to ensure efficient use of space.
  • Supervising the loading and unloading of cargo onto carriers to ensure that the items are transported safely.
  • Preparing bills of lading and other shipping documents such as customs declarations and insurance policies.
  • Coordinating shipments with customs officials to ensure compliance with international shipping laws.
  • Establishing effective communication with relevant governmental and non-governmental institutions and organizations.
  • Maintaining schedules and deadlines.
