Product Design Lead

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced product design lead to join our team at Soshyant. As a product design lead, you will be responsible for leading the design tribe, creating innovative and user-centric designs, and driving the overall product design strategy that leads to business outcomes. You will also have a strong understanding of product, design, and business metrics and be able to define metrics for assessing design impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design tribe, inspiring and guiding a team of talented designers.
• Establish and refine the product design process, including ideation, concept development, prototyping, and iteration, ensuring efficient workflows and collaboration.
• Develop and maintain design systems for consistency and coherence across all products and platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create user-centric designs, driving product strategy.
• Utilize analytics tools to gather insights and inform design decisions.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Figma and design systems.
• Strong strategic mindset and the ability to align design efforts with business goals and objectives.
• Experience in monitoring key product, design, and business metrics to data-driven decision-making.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of designers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a user-centric approach to design.
• +3 years of experience in product design or similar roles.
• Portfolio demonstrating different design skills, the experience of shipping products and showcasing your design process.
