Job Description

  • Conduct medical consumables and orthopedic equipment sales for the company and meet the sales targets.
  • Increase brand awareness and build a relationship with prospective and existing customers.
  • Ensure that proper advertising and marketing are done through the medical product sales.
  • Liaison with doctors, hospitals, and medical staff.
  • Analyze client needs, find gaps in the market, and offer effective solutions to bridge this gap through medical consumables and orthopedic equipment sales.
  • Achieve sales targets set by the company and increase the sales figures with every passing year.
  • Translate the vision and mission of the company through effective medical consumables and orthopedic equipment.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with medical staff and healthcare providers through regular meetings.
  • Meet medical consumables and orthopedic equipment targets, negotiate contracts, review medical consumables and orthopedic equipment sales job performance, and draft reports on the same.
  • Define and implement the growth strategy for the Pharmacy category with an understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
  • Drive brand sales performance through joint business planning and regular business reviews.
  • Monitor medical consumables and orthopedic equipment customer's needs, commercial trends, market situation, and competitor's activities.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements, innovation, and scale within medical products.
  • Own medical category sales and profit performance, including planning and forecasting.
  • Control and monitor price competitiveness in both the marketplace and retail side.
  • Ensure that proper advertising and marketing are done through the medical product sales.
  • General geographical understanding of various regions of the country and the products of each region.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
  • Prior experience working as a medical representative or in a similar role.
  • experience in e-commerce and retail is a plus.
  • Understand the demographics of the territory and devise medical product sales strategies as per the territory.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to network and foster strong working relationships.
  • Personal passion for sustainable and impactful business, CSR, social business, and social innovation.
  • Strong business judgment backed by an analytical mindset and comfort in generating and evaluating various forecasts, metrics, and analyses.
  • Problem-solving skills; dissecting the root causes of problems and implementing solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal with proven ability to represent your organization in external meetings.
  • Negotiation track record and demonstrated ability to influence others.
  • Team spirit and enthusiasm for learning.
