Role Overview:

Join Fanap as a quality assurance engineer to champion software quality and support our teams in delivering robust, high-performing features. In this role, you will execute manual testing, create detailed test plans, and help build a strong culture of quality across our engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Help build a quality-focused engineering culture within all software feature development teams.
  • Perform manual testing of new features to identify and document issues.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely, constructive feedback.
  • Create comprehensive, well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities for optimal results.
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams.
  • Support colleagues with troubleshooting and debugging during testing.
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing.
  • Develop testing processes for new and existing products, ensuring they meet client needs.
  • Create standards and procedures for developers to follow, enhancing code quality.
  • Report bugs and test results to the product manager or developers for further investigation.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a QA role with a strong foundation in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong application debugging skills with the ability to identify root causes.
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
  • Ability to write SQL queries for database testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (a plus).
