Senior Accountant

Job Description

The objective of the role:

We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented senior accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial statements, managing compliance with tax regulations, and ensuring the accuracy of our accounting records. You will also provide expert analysis and insights on accounting data to support decision-making and ensure financial compliance. This position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to lead daily accounting operations.

List of Responsibilities:

• Adept at analyzing and reconciling account balances for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee and ensure accuracy in daily accounting operations, providing support and guidance to junior staff.
• Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday from 8 to 17.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with preparing accurate and comprehensive financial statements.
• Expertise in managing and navigating taxpayer compliance systems.
• Skilled in preparing, reviewing, and filing VAT (Value Added Tax) statements.
• Strong analytical skills for reviewing and interpreting accounting documents.
• Experience in preparing, analyzing, and verifying quarterly financial reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance in a senior role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Results-oriented.
