Job Description

  • Coordinate closely with clients/process owners to understand their business needs and develop an understanding of business and financial and operational processes;
  • Plan and perform audit procedures and tests;
  • Attend meetings and interview staff to gather audit evidence such as audit documents, data, and information;
  • Observe and examine business procedures including accounts, policies, financial records, and other documentation;
  • Analyze data to identify financial reporting errors, fraud, and operational business risks;
  • Prepare the final audit report, including highlighting issues and problems, and making recommendations for improvements to systems and processes;
  • Discuss the conclusion and recommendations from the audit with clients/process owners, including agreeing on recommendations to make improvements;
  • Assess the existing risk management process, and accurately record the results;
  • Evaluate business compliance with rules and regulations, highlighting issues that need addressing;
  • Manage a variety of stakeholders and their expectations through regular communication.

Requirements:

  • Written and spoken proficiency in English (is a must).
  • At least 5 years experience in auditing/controlling or a closely related field is highly desirable.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting (or related field); professional certification in accounting or auditing is a plus;
  • Skills and ability to identify issues, formulate opinions, make conclusions, and recommend solutions. Planning and organizational capability are required;
  • Ability to work independently, commitment to continuous learning, and willingness to keep up to date on new developments in the audit field;
  • Working knowledge of IT systems and standard MS-office products;
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely and to communicate effectively orally;
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with officials at the middle management level;
  • Working within tight timescales and often with several different departments at a time;
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working experience at grade-A audit firms in Iran is a plus.
  • Graduation from the top 10 universities of Iran is an asset.
  • Military service must be completed for male candidates.
