The supply chain expert is responsible for procuring raw materials and equipment for the projects of the company at a competitive rate and suitable quality, promptly, under the direction of the procurement manager. Their main duties include sourcing and selecting the most appropriate suppliers, negotiating purchase orders, making sure ordered/purchased materials and products meet the company's project specifications, tracking orders, ensuring on-time deliveries, and managing suppliers’ relationships.
Responsibilities:
Identify new suppliers/transportation companies (foreign and local) evaluate their capabilities and develop purchase sourcing.
Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers/transportation companies to optimize pricing and terms.
Track orders and monitor supplier performance, including delivery times, and quality, and resolve issues and concerns.
Check technical issues with the engineering department to ensure that ordered/purchased equipment meets the project specifications.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
Order registration in NTSW.
Coordinate transportation and customs activities with transportation. companies/subcontractors.
Coordinate payment of invoices of suppliers/ transportation companies/ subcontractors.
Prepare and maintain records of procurement activities, contracts, and suppliers/transportation companies’ information.
Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement strategies to achieve savings.
Prepare procurement status report and update it.
Report to the supply chain manager.
Probation Period: 3 months.
Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday: 8 am – 5 pm.
Travel requirements: occasional travel within the country.

Requirements
University Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commercial Management, Industrial Management, or other related fields.
Nature and Length of Previous Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the industry.
Proven related working experience.
Specialist Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
Proficiency in purchasing equipment.
Familiar with NTSW and customs regulations.
Fluent in English.
Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel (upper-intermediate).
