Supply Chain Expert

Job Description

As a supply chain expert, you will play a key role in driving our business forward by identifying and securing new suppliers for our electrical components. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure the efficient and effective flow of products. You will also be responsible for gathering and analyzing market data to make informed decisions that support our supply chain objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and source new suppliers for electrical components in global markets.
• Conduct thorough market research and gather data to evaluate potential suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to achieve the best value for the company.
• Collaborate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to product quality, delivery, or cost.
• Analyze supply chain data and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other tools to manage and report on supply chain activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance our sourcing strategy.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or related fields, preferably within the electrical components or related industry.
• Language Skills: Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
• Research Skills: Strong ability to find new suppliers and gather relevant data from global markets.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot supply chain issues and propose effective solutions.
