Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize inventory levels.
Analyze inventory to identify stagnant or obsolete items and take appropriate action.
Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including arranging shipments, managing transportation costs, and tracking delivery schedules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotions or events.
Execute daily order planning.
Receive information related to product orders such as lead times, delivery delays, restrictions, etc.
Coordinate the shipment of production materials and supplies. Follow up on production schedules based on announced schedules.
Follow up on payment of contract production fees.
Communicate and interact with the warehouse department of contract companies for product production (receiving and shipping manufactured items and inventory control).
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or other related fields.
At least three years of work experience in a related field.
Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics and demand forecasting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and make informed decisions.
Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping procedures and customs clearance is an asset.
