About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic supply planning team lead to lead our supply chain operations. If you have a strong background in supply planning, inventory management, and leadership, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the supply planning team to develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals.
- Oversee demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, production, sales, logistics) to ensure efficient end-to-end supply chain operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and anticipate potential disruptions.
- Develop and manage KPIs to track performance and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Lead supply planning meetings and communicate key insights to executive leadership.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliability and responsiveness.
- Optimize supply planning processes and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- At least 7+ years of experience in supply chain or supply planning, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
- Proficiency in supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA) and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven leadership and people management skills with experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
