Job Description

The objective of the role:

The Telecom. (ICT) & F&G (Safety- Fire & Gas Detection) Bid Engineer is a member of the bid engineering team in the bid department, who is responsible for preparing Technical/Financial Proposals for IT industrial systems, communication industrial systems, and F&G (Fire & Gas Detection) industrial systems of the relevant projects, under the direction of the Bid manager. He analyzes bids and proposal requirements, prepares cost estimates, and collaborates with various departments to ensure competitive and compliant bids.

List of Responsibilities:

• Design and propose technical solutions for Telecom. (ICT) and F&G (Safety- Fire & Gas Detection) tenders and inquiries.
• Attend client meetings and assist with the determination of project requirements.
• Attend site meetings to handle site technical issues.

• Reporting to the bid manager.
• Subordinates: -.
• Length of probation period: 3 Months.
• Working hours: Saturday to Tuesday from 8 am - 5 pm, Wednesdays from 8 am - 4 pm.
• Travel requirements: occasional travel within the country.
• Commission, bonus, and benefits: breakfast, lunch, supplementary insurance, seasonal gift bin, etc.

Requirements:

• University qualifications: B.Sc. degree in IT Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Control Engineering; from top government universities such as the University of Tehran, Sharif University of Technology, Amirkabir University of Technology, Shahid Beheshti University, etc.

Previous Experience:

• Having at least 3 years of related experience in industrial ICT projects, industrial telecommunication projects, and industrial F&G projects (having experience in Oil and Gas projects environment is a plus).
• Having experience in producing technical and engineering documents is a plus.

Specialist Knowledge:

• Deep knowledge of IT concepts.
• Thorough understanding and/or hands-on experience in all or some of the below systems is preferred:

1. CCTV;
2. PA/GA;
3. VHF/UHF/UHF Tetra Radio;
4. Telephone (PABX);
5. LAN/WAN;
6. SDH;
7. Wireless communication systems, etc;
8. F&G (Fire and Gas Detection);

• Computer skills:

1. MS Office (esp. Word and Excel);
2. AutoCAD;

• Good at English.
• Familiarity with EPC projects is a plus.
