Rehabilitation of fertilizing plants in CPAMC:

RAMPCO Group entered the Venezuelan market in 2013 after conducting extensive research. Focusing on petrochemical and refinery maintenance projects, partnered with Pequiven in 2020 to collaborate on projects. In 2022, RAMPCO secured a contract to rehabilitate the ammonia unit of the Ana Maria Campos petrochemical complex (CPAMC), beginning its operations in September 2023.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled QC Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quality control within the petrochemical industry, focusing on ammonia and fertilizer plants. This role will involve on-site inspections, quality assurance activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
The main activities include generating, tracking, and verifying compliance with the execution procedures, work orders, and related reports and documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine/on-demand/ inspections and quality checks on materials, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, and management.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed quality control documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Metallurgy Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in quality control within the petrochemical industry, with a preference for experience in ammonia and fertilizer plants.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles, methods, and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to quality management especially in the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical industries.
  • Proficiency in quality control software and documentation tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English or Spanish (absolutely necessary)
