Job Description

  • Monitor the proper operation of laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure that laboratory tests are performed in accordance with the rules and regulations of IRI on occupational safety, as well as IMS on occupational safety ZNV.
  • Monitor the emergency protection, IPS system, fire detection, and gas pollution control system in the laboratory.
  • Control and ensure timely order of necessary reagents, equipment, spare parts, transportation, and other necessary materials for laboratory work and issuing appropriate WSR.
  • Quality management of laboratory tests, methods of the tests in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, and support of laboratory equipment at the appropriate level.
  • Conduct tests of varying complexity in accordance with international standards (ASTM, ISO, Internal procedures, etc.).
  • Installation and commissioning of equipment in the laboratory.
  • Provide audits and inspections including leadership safety audits.
  • Prepare and provide statistical, managerial, and other required reports.
  • Perform any related tasks assigned by the line manager or the functional manager.
  • Prepare chemical reagents for testing, monitoring compliance with storage conditions for reagents in the warehouse and the laboratory.

Requirements;

  • Higher professional education in Chemistry (Bachelor's or Master's), relevant professional certification, or postgraduate program is preferable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the specialty; at least 4 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Knowledge and experience of quality control in accordance with ISO 17025 is preferable.
