POSITION SUMMARY:
To develop and lead the distributor's sales team, ensuring efficient and effective field executions, implementing sales and distribution strategies in assigned territories, while inspiring the distributors' sales force.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
- Responsible for achieving sales and distribution targets per category for the assigned area.
- Ensure the implementation of visibility plans as per the company's merchandising guidelines within the assigned area by the efficient use of POP materials.
- Develop, negotiate, implement, and monitor customer/channel business plans in alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and manage long-term, effective business relationships with distributors.
- Coordinate with CDT to ensure local promotions are consistent with area/unit/category objectives and successfully implemented in the trade.
- Responsible for onboarding and functional capabilities development of distributors' salesforce.
- Analyze area/unit/channel performance and recommend action to accelerate growth.
- Review journey plans, customer master data, and customer classification twice a year to ensure the operational effectiveness of the team.
- Responsible for providing quality inputs for the MBPC cycle and forecasting at the branch level.
- Responsible for providing timely and quality information on marketing intelligence (e.g., competition activities, and market dynamics).
- Ensure quality implementation/monitoring of customer-level activities and propose new activities/schemes.
- Ensure collection and financial reconciliation is made in line with Nestlé's set payment terms for his/her area/unit/channel.
- Propose and implement a motivational plan for the distributors of salesforce.
- Continuous alignment/insight exchange with the medical and brand team to ensure full alignment between the sales and brand teams.
- Ensure strict adherence and compliance with all activities undertaken, including those taking place on trade, to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes and Nestlé Instructions and local country codes.
- Ensure compliance with Nestlé’s strictest requirements that Nestlé marketing and sales personnel will not seek contact with, or give advice to pregnant women, or mothers of infants and young children regarding Infant Formula in their business capacity.
- Ensure the escalation process is in place to attain full alignment between distributors' branches and distributors' HO.
What Will Make You Successful?
- At least 3 years of sales experience.
- Highly developed in planning and organizing skills.
- Eager to achieve high targets.
- Excellent decision-making skills.
- Advanced level of Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written communication.
