To develop and implement comprehensive business continuity plans and frameworks tailored to MTNIrancell's unique needs and challenges.
To manage regular risk assessments and business impact analysis to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities that could impact business operations.
To design, develop, and maintain a business continuity plan aligned with the disaster recovery plans to ensure quick and effective response and recovery from disruptions.
To manage business continuity training and awareness programs for employees at all levels to ensure understanding and preparedness.
To manage the establishment and maintenance of a crisis communication plan to ensure timely and effective communication with employees, customers, stakeholders, and the media during a crisis.
To collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the resilience of critical infrastructure and technology systems.
To develop and manage a testing and exercise program to validate the effectiveness of business continuity and disaster recovery plans prepared by the disaster recovery team.
To monitor and analyze emerging risks and trends in the telecommunications and ICT industry to ensure the resilience plans remain current and effective.
To manage the interactions with external partners, including government agencies, emergency services, and industry bodies, to ensure integrated and cohesive response plans.
To prepare and deliver regular reports to senior management and stakeholders on the status of business resilience initiatives and readiness.
To manage the incident response team during significant disruptions, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and actions are understood and executed.
To manage and facilitate post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement in the resilience plans and processes.
To manage maintaining up-to-date documentation of all business resilience plans, policies, and procedures, ensuring they are accessible and understood by relevant stakeholders.
To develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business resilience programs and initiatives.
To ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to business continuity and resilience.
To foster a culture of resilience within the organization by promoting best practices and continuous improvement in business continuity.
To support the integration of business resilience considerations into new projects and initiatives to ensure they are designed with resilience in mind.
To manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure their business continuity capabilities align with MTNIrancell standards and requirements.
To oversee the maintenance and testing of emergency notification systems to ensure they are functional and effective during a crisis.
To coordinate with government officials to prepare and plan responses to disasters and CRISIS.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Internal Auditing, Risk Management, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunication Infrastructure, HSE, Occupational Health Safety, or related fields.
An MBA or DBA certification is an added advantage.
Fluent in English.
At least 5 years of experience in a process-oriented environment.
Experience working in medium to large organizations, and high-tech companies would be an added advantage (i.e., telecommunication).
