Job Description
The owner of the position is responsible from A to Z for the foreign procurement and logistics affairs for the allocated suppliers he/she has, under the direct supervision of the managing director.
Roles:
- Manage all supplier affairs, such as correspondence, suppliers’ shipments, delivery schedule, and expenditures.
- Evaluate and analyze information about supplier performance and consult with the manager for the correct action.
- Source for new suppliers in the best condition to add to the number of suppliers.
- Prepare the contracts with suppliers.
- Negotiate with suppliers to maintain the suppliers and try to have the best deal.
- Follow up on the shipment with the shipping company and the clearance agent.
- Update with the latest news and laws, and take quick and correct actions.
- Manage the procurement governance process across the business, policy, and procedures.
- Develop the purchase and procurement policy and procedure, and ensure they follow the instructions.
- Prepare the suppliers' reports promptly.
- Update the management and deliver the reports promptly.
Requirements:
- Company Locations (optional): Tajrish or Fatah Highway.
- Working days: Saturday to Wednesday from 8:30 to 18:00 ; holidays: Fridays and Thursdays.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in related positions.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of foreign purchases and imports.
- Excellent correspondence skills.
- Fully capable of handling contract and commercial processes.
- Strong knowledge of the planning process and acting on a timely basis.
- Strong Management skills.
- High personal motivation and a sense of urgency.
- Multi-task handling is a must.
