Job Description
The content manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing all content creation efforts, including website copy, blog posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent English language skills and experience optimizing content for SEO and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Development:
- Plan and implement a content strategy that aligns with goals and target audience.
- Create content calendars and oversee content production schedules.
Content Creation & Management:
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Ensure content is clear, engaging, and aligned with brand voice.
SEO Optimization:
- Optimize content for search engines using keywords, meta descriptions, and on-page SEO best practices.
- Use tools like Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console to monitor and improve content performance.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, web development, and design teams to ensure content supports campaigns and website goals.
- Coordinate with speakers and partners for guest content or interviews.
Content Performance Analysis:
- Track content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) and make data-driven decisions to improve content.
- Generate reports on content effectiveness and provide insights.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all content is accurate, error-free, and consistent with the company’s brand and tone.
- Regularly update and refresh website content to keep it relevant.
Trend Research:
- Stay updated on industry trends, academic conference topics, and content marketing best practices.
- Identify opportunities for new content formats (e.g., videos, infographics, webinars).
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in content creation, content marketing, or a similar role.
Language Skills:
- Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills in English.
- Strong proofreading and editing abilities.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
- Experience with WordPress or other content management systems (CMS).
- Familiarity with basic HTML (a plus).
Project Management:
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Trello, Asana).

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
