Job Description

The content manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing all content creation efforts, including website copy, blog posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent English language skills and experience optimizing content for SEO and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy Development:

  • Plan and implement a content strategy that aligns with goals and target audience.
  • Create content calendars and oversee content production schedules.

Content Creation & Management:

  • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure content is clear, engaging, and aligned with brand voice.

SEO Optimization:

  • Optimize content for search engines using keywords, meta descriptions, and on-page SEO best practices.
  • Use tools like Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console to monitor and improve content performance.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing, web development, and design teams to ensure content supports campaigns and website goals.
  • Coordinate with speakers and partners for guest content or interviews.

Content Performance Analysis:

  • Track content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) and make data-driven decisions to improve content.
  • Generate reports on content effectiveness and provide insights.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure all content is accurate, error-free, and consistent with the company’s brand and tone.
  • Regularly update and refresh website content to keep it relevant.

Trend Research:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, academic conference topics, and content marketing best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for new content formats (e.g., videos, infographics, webinars).

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in content creation, content marketing, or a similar role.

Language Skills:

  • Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills in English.
  • Strong proofreading and editing abilities.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
  • Experience with WordPress or other content management systems (CMS).
  • Familiarity with basic HTML (a plus).

Project Management:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Trello, Asana).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Creative mindset with a strategic approach to content.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Additional Skills:

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing.
